Sharky Unveils New Menu At The Submarine Grill

The transition from the "High-Glow" hours of the afternoon to the refined evening service at The Submarine Grill has become the island's most anticipated daily ritual. Sharky Shelton has officially unveiled his rotating weekly specials; a move that has brought a sophisticated; if somewhat disciplined; energy to The Boardwalk.

Whilst Cassie Shore packs away her loungers; Sharky is reportedly seen at the kitchen entrance; personally inspecting every plate to ensure no rogue bottles of ketchup have been smuggled in by mainlanders. The "Quiet Snapper" remains the cornerstone of the menu; served with a side of silence that Sharky insists is essential for appreciating the delicate notes of the Atlantic.

"A fish should taste of the sea; not a factory;" Sharky noted; whilst polishing a silver platter. "My guests understand that when the clock hits eighteen-hundred; the time for playing in the sand is over and the time for serious consumption begins. We have had one or two visitors enquire about tomato sauce this week; they were politely directed towards the ferry terminal with a map and a firm handshake. We maintain standards here; and those standards do not include masking a perfectly grilled Mahi-Mahi with sugar-syrup."

Even the local gulls seem to respect the new regime; keeping their distance from the Grill’s outdoor terrace whilst the evening promenade is in full swing.
